In commemoration of the 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, a seminar on “Thoughts and Philosophy of Mahatma Gandhi” was organised by Raj Bhavan, Kohima at its Durbar Hall from 10:00 AM on 2nd October 2018. The chief host of the seminar was the Honourable Governor of Nagaland Shri PB Acharya. Intellectuals, academicians and social workers from neighbouring states as well as from the other parts of India spoke on the auspicious occasion. Papers were presented on the “Thoughts and Philosophies of Mahatma Gandhi” by eminent speakers like:

The seminar really enlightened the minds of the participants and provoked the thoughts of the students gathered, in the line of Mahatma Gandhi’s simple yet influential life. The seminar was attended by students from different educational institutions across Nagaland and awards were also presented to the winners of district level quiz competition.
