Sakus Mission College, Dimapur, affiliated to the Nagaland University (NU) vide no.NCK/Ac/C/32/94 3806 dated 16-01-96,  is one of the most prestigious colleges in this part of the country. Established in 1994, it is a co-educational institution run and controlled by  the Christian values by a board of directors consisting of eminent educationists. Acting as the path breaker in the pursuit of excellence, its endeavour of integrating quality with quantity is reflected in the road it has travelled and strides taken thus far since its inception to reach where it is now. Life-at-SMC centers around a shared commitment to academic excellence, intellectual growth, art & athletics, high standards of ethical awareness, sportsmanship, and community service.

The College runs under the supervision of a board of advisory members known as the  Board of Directors. It’s main aim is to focus on the educational upbringing of the Naga Society. The College has been providing quality education since 1994, to over 15000 students till date. Under its wing a premier co-educational institution has been established where academic education to student from Higher Secondary till BA-Degree. It is located at an ideal place in the heart of Dimapur on the side of DC Court Road, Dimapur, and is also close to the State Stadium. It is connected via National Highway 39, which connects to Kohima, the State Capital. Near the main gate, transportation facilities are readily available and is well connected via Indian Railways (roughly 2 kms away) and approx. 7 kms from the nearest Dimapur Airport.

The College was instituted, formed and founded by Er. T. Saku Aier, a retired engineer with a prioritized aim to impart comprehensive quality education under the laid down syllabi of the Nagaland University, and to develop the dormant as-yet-unexplored potential in each individual student even beyond the academic arena and the involvement of each and every student in the ecumenical mission.

To provide depth and variety are added to each student’s life by the College traditions and accessibility to a broad curriculum. The College, though wholly  autonomous, proudly upholds its founders’ commitment to excellence in all fields, with  emphasis on  the motto:
