Responding to the call of WHO and its member countries the Eco Club so Sakus Mission College along with the rest of the world observed the World Environment on the 5th June 2018 under the theme “Beat Plastic Pollution”. Vice-principal Simon Kelio in his speech, appealed to all faculty and students to come together and combat “Plastic” which is one of the greatest environmental challenges and to spread awareness about plastic pollution.
The other highlights of the programme included paper bag making competition, dedication of new club members , donation of waste bins and tree saplings to all the department by the Eco Club.
