The Department of Sociology, Sakus Mission College, Dimapur, conducted its 2nd Inter – Departmental Paper Presentation Competition for the students on 21st of September, 2019, at the college campus. The HoD of the department chairing the programme, emphasized on the importance of Research in academics and encouraged the students to inculcate the value of researching specially in social and humanistic science. Altogether 15 students from the various department participated in the competition. The competition was judged by the Principal, Dr. Arenla Aier, and Dr. Samuel Longkumer, Administrator, who declared Mr. Lanusama of BA 1st Sem (English Honours) and Mr. Tselenso of BA 3rd Sem (Pol. Science) as 1st and 2nd respectively. The winners were awarded cash prize sponsored by the chairman of the college, along with certificates.
