Sakus Mission College Organised its First-Inter Higher Secondary Extempore Competition on the 29th of November, 2019

True to its motto “Learn for Excellence”, Sakus Mission College organised an inter Higher Secondary Extempore Competition on the 29th of November 2019. It was a first of its kind activity where 10 Higher Secondary Schools from Dimapur participated. Out of the 20 participants, Miss. Kavitoli Swu representing Little Star Higher Secondary School bagged the first position, Mr. Vitoka from Eden Higher Secondary School bagged the second position and Miss. Renla representing Lima Aier Higher Secondary School was adjudged the third position.

The winners were awarded with certificates, trophies and cash prize of Rs.10000, Rs.7000, and Rs.5000 respectively.

The panel of judges for the competition were Mr. Leonard Aier, Principal City Law College, Dimapur, Mr. Along Longkumer, founder editor, the Morung Express and Miss. Kekhreile-Ü Mezhü, advocate Dimapur Legal Service Authority.

The programme was chaired by Mrs. Narola Jamir, Asst. Prof, Department of Education followed by invocation done by Mrs. Amenla Aier, Chaplain, SMC. Welcome address was delivered by  Dr. Arenla Aier, Principal SMC. Other highlights of the programme included the documentary of Sakus Mission College, special number by Mr. Asotasen of Class-11, SMC. Some insight shared by Mr. Leonard Aier. The programme concluded with the benediction pronounced by Miss. Tiajungla, Asst. Prof, Department of Political Science.
