The IQAC and Dept. Of Political Science organised a workshop on the topic “Workshop on Research Methodology: Social Science Research Methods” as a Students Development Programme on 11th of June, 2019 at the college auditorium. The resource person for the program was Dr. Aniruddha Babar, Asst. Prof. Department of Political Science, Tetso College, Dimapur. He emphasized on the elementary nature and objectives of research, various steps to write project papers and research papers and the necessity of research for students in higher education and career development. The program was chaired by Mr. Repa Imchen, Asst. prof. Department of Political Science, SMC. Dr. Arenla Aier, Principal, SMC welcomed the resource person and addressed the gathering. The vote of thanks was pronounced by Ms. Limanaro, HoD, Department of Education, SMC. The students and the teaching community of the host college were highly profited.
